Homework:  Students should have each night's assignments copied into their Homework Planners. All work is due the following morning unless otherwise noted.

Spelling:  above, another, upon, animal, paper, open, family, travel, afraid, nickel, sugar, circus, item, gallon, melon

CHALLENGE WORDS:  character, cardinal, Oregon, particular, dinosaur

Daily:  Read for 20 minutes and respond to your reading,


     Math: Please continue working on memorizing your multiplication facts.  Also, we will be having a measurement assessment this week.  Brush up on calculating elapsed time, pictographs, line plots, and bar graphs.

                          2) Get started right away so you have time to play when you're done! (Put First Things First- work first, then play)

                          3) If you get stuck, ask a family member for help or e-mail/call Mrs. LaBorde. (Be Proactive)

                         4) ALWAYS do your neatest and best work! (Begin with the End in Mind- so you don't have to redo it!)
