This website is designed to provided resources for students registered for the Exercise Science courses of the Sports Medicine specialty including Components of Fitness and Science of Exercise.


The comprehensive Health Sciences program has been created to provide a variety of learning opportunities and includes the following areas and courses:

    • Athletic Injury Rehabilitation and Prevention
    • Sports Medicine Practicum

Selection of the specific courses is based on the specific career interests and remaining graduation requirements of the individual student. Some courses expect prerequisite knowledge and/or skills. Depending on specific curriculum design, different courses are eligible for Health & Fitness (PE) or Science credits towards graduation. Many courses are eligible for college credit through TechPrep articulations.
