Welcome to Mr. Savala's AP Statistics Website!

Please check the Announcements page for the most up-to-date information about what is going on in class.  For the class Canvas page, log in at: https://rentonschools.instructure.com/login/canvas; your username and password should be the same as your school computer login.

Welcome to AP Statistics!  AP Stats is a rigorous course that combines the mathematical study of data and probability with the analysis and communication skills critical to today's careers in science, engineering, technology, business, politics, education, medicine, social work, economics, farming, management, journalism, advertising, networking...you get the idea: it's important, and ever more so in an age where data is being used in so many new, useful, and controversial ways.  The course syllabus with a course outline is available for download on the Documents page.

NEXT YEAR'S STUDENTS: Congratulations on your obvious good judgement in taking AP Stats.  I hope neither of us will regret your decision!  On the Documents page, you will find a welcome letter that has a couple links to resources you might want to review, particularly if you are coming to AP Stats from Algebra 3-4 or have taken a year off from math before taking AP Stats.  This is not a summer assignment, but it's also probably in your best interest to take a look.  Students coming from AP Calculus and Math Analysis have seen some of this stuff already, and you may not have.
