Enroll in Worksite Learning (WSL)

  • Do you have a job?
  • Are you at least 16 years of age?
  • Do you want to earn high school credit WHILE you're working?
  • Have you had or currently enrolled in a CTE class?

What is Worksite Learning (WSL)?  Worksite Learning is an exciting program that affords students the opportunity to connect the knowledge and skills obtained in the classroom to those needed in the work environment.  WSL students earn 1/2 a high school credit for each 180 reported hours they work.

All students have to do is report their work hours weekly and continue learning on the job -- There is no class to attend.

Print the forms from this web (or pick-up from the Career Center or Mrs. Derrig) and complete.

Turn in to the main office and start earning credit right away!

HHS office hours will be Thursdays 9:30 - 12:30 in the Career Center.

You may email me terry.derrig@rentonschools.us or through this website if you need to contact me during non-office hours.
