Meet Mrs. Lowery
My name is Kelley Lowery, and I was born and raised in Renton, WA.  I attended Washington State University (GO COUGS!) and this will be my 12th year teaching at Kennydale.  I have experience with 4th and 5th grades, as well as the Discovery Program.  I love my job and look forward to many more exciting years ahead.

When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family, including my husband, Nick, son, Noah, and dog, Bella.  My hobbies include playing sports, dance fitness, listening to music, cooking/baking and exploring new places.

Teaching Philosophy
Learning is an active, life long process that requires critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, collaboration and independence.  We make many choices in life, and our success inside and out of the classroom, are molded by these actions.  Through exploration and investigation during the hands-on learning process, we create strong relationships with the world around us in order to function as successful future leaders and citizens.
