The Pro-Justice Union (PJU) meets Tuesdays after school in Room 110K.

About: The purpose of this student organization is to spread the message that people of all races and genders can come together to promote justice and end unfair treatment of people in their schools, communities, nation, and world.

Why: We want to increase the amount of justice in the world and stop mistreatment due to racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination. We want justice for all.

"Once you change your philosophy, you change your thought pattern. Once you change your thought pattern you change your attitude. Once you change your attitude it changes your behavior pattern. And then you go on into some action."

-Malcolm X,  April 12, 1964, Detroit, Michigan

"[One] dies when [one] refuses to stand up for that which is right. [One] dies when [one] refuses to stand up for justice. [One] dies when [one] refuses to take a stand for that which is true."

-Martin Luther King, Jr., March 8, 1965, Selma, Alabama

"It's important to acknowledge the past, but it's also important to acknowledge the current and ongoing grievances, and what the future will look like."
